Natural Dyeing with Organic Indigo Nov 18th

Eco Artist and natural dyer Ashleigh Ellis will have an organic indigo vat prepared so that we can experiment with the rich blues from the indigo plant on cotton samples and learn traditional Japanese shibori techniques to make dappled patterns. Dye a beautiful soft muslin scarf and many shibori samples to bring home.

You are also invited to bring a secondhand textile of your own to give a new life in the vat. These need to be cotton/linen, and no larger than a tea towel or t-shirt. Washed textiles only.
